Launching on Tuesday 16 June the Museum of Time Astrophotogry exhibition trail will be on display at Horsham Museum. The trail features original astrophotographs by Horsham based astrophotographer Claire Bradshaw FRAS.
Displayed alongside these photographs will be artefacts from the museums collection. These represent the light year distance of each photograph as the light captured has travelled from the past. The museum objects on display will be those which would have been in use when the light left their place of origin.
Worksheets are available to download to explain each celestial object photographed within the exhibition trail.
1 - The Flame and Horsehead Nebulae - NGC 2024 & B33
2 - The Rosette Nebula - Caldwell 49
5 - The Great Hercules Cluster - M13
6 - The Pinwheel Galaxy - M101
8 - The Jellyfish Nebula - IC443
9 - The Cygnus Loop - NGC 6960, 6992, 6995
