Eclipse-nic in the Park

Join us for an informal picnic in the Human Nature Garden, Horsham Park to experience the partial solar eclipse this summer. Astrophotographer Claire Bradshaw, and members of Horsham Astronomy Group will be on hand to guide you through what is happening in the sky.  As it is never safe to look directly at the sun, attendees are encouraged to BYOC (bring your own colander) as a simple alternative to a pin hole projector.

Please note that this is an informal gathering to enjoy the eclipse and that there will be no refreshments available at the event so those attending should bring their own picnic.

The event is weather dependent and if there is rain or cloud cover then the Eclipse-nic will not take place. Please check the museum website in the lead up to the event for full details.
